Body & Weight
Weight management and localized body contouring are different goals. We review body shape, weight changes, lifestyle, medications, and medical history, and may discuss anti-obesity medication, ONDA or other body energy treatments, and lipolysis injections as appropriate.
Points to Review by Treatment
Weight-loss medications can affect appetite and gastrointestinal motility, while body procedures may cause localized warmth, tenderness, or swelling. We explain the purpose and expected course of each treatment before proceeding.
Possible Side Effects- GLP-1/GIP-based anti-obesity medications commonly cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, or reduced appetite. Severe persistent abdominal pain or repeated vomiting requires medical evaluation.
- When used with diabetes medications, hypoglycemia risk depends on the drug combination. Important adverse events such as gallbladder disease or pancreatitis are also considered during consultation.
- After ONDA or other body energy treatments, warmth, redness, swelling, tenderness, or temporary sensory changes may occur; rarely, burns or skin injury can occur.
- Lipolysis injections may cause bruising, swelling, pain, firm lumps, or temporary sensory changes, and asymmetry or surface irregularity may remain.
Unlike cosmetic procedures, anti-obesity medication requires review of overall health and concomitant medications. Suitability is assessed before prescribing. Equipment Used
Equipment is selected or combined according to skin condition and treatment goals.
