SHINE YOUNG PROGRAM

Skin & Pigmentation

We distinguish the type of pigmentation and skin condition and plan laser and skin care using LUCAS Q-Switched Nd:YAG, CLARITY II, skin boosters, and supportive skin care.

Skin & Pigmentation

Melasma, lentigines, freckles, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation may look similar but differ in depth and cause, so treatment response varies. LUCAS Q-Switched Nd:YAG, CLARITY II, skin care, and skin boosters are selected according to skin condition.

Key Points in Pigmentation Treatment

Rather than treating pigmentation aggressively in one session, energy should be adjusted to pigment type and skin response. UV exposure, heat, and inflammation after treatment can darken pigmentation again.

Possible Side Effects
  • Temporary redness, warmth, dryness, itching, or fine crusting may occur after laser treatment.
  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) can temporarily darken the treated area; rarely, hypopigmentation may occur.
  • Melasma is influenced by UV exposure, hormones, heat, and other factors and may fluctuate or darken again after treatment.
  • Injectable treatments such as skin boosters may cause bruising, swelling, temporary raised bumps, or tenderness; rarely, infection, nodules, or allergic reactions may occur.
Moisturizing and sun protection are especially important after laser treatment. Do not forcibly remove crusts or peeling skin.
